{"id":14137,"date":"2012-04-23T16:48:49","date_gmt":"2012-04-23T14:48:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dosacordes.es\/web\/?post_type=product&#038;p=14137"},"modified":"2024-11-06T23:47:06","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T22:47:06","slug":"andres-gaos-sonata-for-violin-and-piano","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.dosacordes.es\/web\/en\/producto\/andres-gaos-sonata-for-violin-and-piano\/","title":{"rendered":"Andr\u00e9s Gaos: Sonata for violin and piano"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Andr\u00e9s Gaos; Revised by Jo\u00e1m Trillo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Andr\u00e9s Gaos was a Galician composer who stood out for having succeeded in spreading Galician music during the early 20<sup>th<\/sup> century throughout Latin America, especially Argentina, the country where he spent most of his life.<\/p>\n<p>The edition of his sonata for violin and piano belongs to the series Agra Vella, within the collection <em>Ars Gallaeciae Musicae<\/em> that Dos Acordes co-publishes with the Galician Agency for Cultural Industries (AGADIC) of the Xunta de Galicia, which aims to recover the work of outstanding figures of the Galician musical and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>This piece follows the classic structure of the sonata in three movements: Allegro-Adagio-Allegro, and it has been revised by the musicologist, conductor and composer Jo\u00e1m Trillo.
