Among his most outstanding works are his <em>Seis baladas gallegas para piano solo<\/em> (1897). The work published by Dos Acordes contains the transcription for clarinet and piano of the six original ballads: <em>As lixeiras anduri\u00f1as, Doce sono, Negra Sombra, Lonxe da terri\u00f1a, Unha noite na eira do trigo and O pensar do labrego. <\/em>The transcription has been carried out by Marta Sancho, Clarinet Professor at the Conservatorio Superior de M\u00fasica da Coru\u00f1a (Galicia, Spain).<\/p>\n<p>This edition represents an important part of the Galician musical heritage.
